Does it work offline?
No. A connection is needed to find places near you and generate stories. Once a story has played, it's cached on the device and replays without a network.
How much battery does it use?
Background location is the main cost. Roughly comparable to keeping a navigation app open. The screen can stay off and the phone in your pocket.
Can I use it on a trip abroad?
Yes, with a data connection: a local SIM or a Wi-Fi spot. A story is a few megabytes.
What data is collected?
GPS is sent to the server only when you request a story, so we can find the closest place. No account, no personal data. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Which languages are supported?
English and Russian at launch. The voice is generated in your chosen language.
