DDream Games LLC ("we", "us") operates Yolqa (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
On first launch, the App generates a random anonymous identifier
(install_id, a version-4 UUID). It is stored locally on your
device and sent with every request to our servers so we can keep track of
your token balance and progress. It is not linked to your name, email, or
phone number.
The App reads your device GPS coordinates to find nearby points of interest and play audio guides about them. Location is sent to our servers only when you actively use the App (e.g. when the App polls for nearby places). With your explicit permission, location may also be read in the background so audio playback continues while your phone is in your pocket. We do not log or store location history server-side beyond what is needed to fulfill the current request.
We record which points of interest you have listened to (linked to your
install_id), and which generated stories were created. Story
content itself is text generated from public Wikipedia data, not from you.
We use a third-party crash reporting service to collect crash reports
and non-fatal errors. Crash reports include device model, OS version,
app version, stack traces, and your install_id. They do
not include the content of audio stories or location data.
If you purchase a subscription via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the store provider handles the transaction and shares a receipt token with us so we can unlock premium features. We never see your payment method, card number, or billing address.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We share limited data with the following categories of service providers, strictly to operate the App. They process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
install_id.install_id.We do not share user data with advertisers, analytics brokers, or other commercial third parties.
Our primary servers are located in the European Union. Some operational data (audio synthesis input, AI text generation input, crash diagnostics) may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside the EU, including the United States, under standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission and equivalent safeguards.

We respond within 30 days.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted on the storage provider level. We follow industry-standard practices for secret management and access control, but no system is perfectly secure. You use the App at your own risk.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
